VIRGIL VAN DIJK HAS MADE AN ADMISSION REGARDING CHELSEA’S STAMFORD BRIDGE

A Liverpool player has named Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge as one of his favourite stadiums.

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has played in some of the world’s biggest and best arenas.

In fact, only three weeks ago he helped the Reds to a 2-0 victory away to Inter Milan at the famous San Siro in Italy.

However, speaking to Amazon Prime, the Netherlands international name-checked Chelsea’s home as among his favourites.

He said: “I like playing in every stadium, St Mary’s, the Emirates, Stamford Bridge, Elland Road, Villa Park – I am just enjoying playing football in any stadium, whether it’s hostile or quiet. It’s our fans that have the better of the stadium.”
