Ten Hag has ‘received approval’ from United board of directors to sell players who oppose his methods

According to the report, Erik ten Hag will be given complete control over which players he wants to keep at Man United next season.

The United board has already given the Dutchman full permission to sell any player who does not conform to his techniques or playing style.

After he begins pre-season training with the group in July, Ten Hag is expected to select which players he wants to sell.

He’s also been tasked with deciding which of the six soon-to-be out-of-contract players should be granted new contracts, but the Dutchman hasn’t recommended granting any of them new agreements as of yet.

Ten Hag will most likely be handed a £100 million transfer budget, which will be supplemented by proceeds from player sales.
