Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are unlikely to block Kieran Tierney from leaving for Real Madrid if the price is right, according to The Sunday Post.
The report has claimed that Spanish and European giants Madrid are planning on making a bid of £50 million for the former Celtic left-back.
Barcelona are also keen on the defender Arsenal paid Celtic £25 million for (The Sunday Post).
The report has claimed that Madrid chief scout, Juni Calafat, has been impressed by Tierney while watching Bukayo Saka and believes that the 24-year-old can succeed at the very top.
The Sunday Post have added that Arsenal are unlikely to block Tierney’s potential move to Madrid if they get a good transfer fee.
COULD ARSENAL LOSE KIERAN TIERNEY TO REAL MADRID?
In our opinion, if Madrid pay £50 million and above, then there is a very good chance that they would be able to sign Tierney from Arsenal.
It would mean a huge profit for the Gunners.
Now, of course, Arsenal are a big club and could finish in the Premier League top four.
However, Madrid are arguably the biggest club in the world and regularly compete for the La Liga and the Champions League.
Leaving Arsenal for Madrid would be a step-up for Tierney.
