Clinton Morrison has claimed that Fulham wonderkid, Fabio Carvalho, is an ‘exciting player’ who will be a ‘Liverpool player next season’.
At 19-years-old, Fulham’s next hot prospect is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Harvey Elliott by making a name for himself on the big stage.
Elliott is regularly picked by Jurgen Klopp at Anfield and Carvalho will be joining him in Liverpool colours next season.
During the January transfer window, Carvalho nearly joined the Reds, only for the transfer to fall through, but he is set to be moving to Merseyside in the summer.
Free-scoring Fulham have been rampaging past near-on every team that comes towards them in the Championship this season, as Morrison praised one of the main cogs in Marco Silva’s promotion wheel, as he told Sky Sports News.
“Carvalho, who is an exciting player,” said Morrison. “He will be a Liverpool player next season. He has got some fantastic ability.”
Fulham are Premier League-bound, it’s just a case of it being confirmed, as their young Portuguese star has been a key part of the season’s success.
A Premier League player in the making, not many youngsters have looked easy on the eye and so smooth on the ball than Carvalho.
It will be interesting to see once his move to Liverpool is confirmed what Klopp does with his talents.
He’s not breaking his way into the club’s talent-ravaged midfield soon, so it will be interesting if they allow him to be loaned back to Fulham as they bid to remain in England’s top-flight after previous failures.
