Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has described his departing Anfield teammate Divock Origi as a “legend” on Instagram.
Origi is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season on a free transfer.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already made that clear.
The 27-year-old forward is injured at the moment and will not play against Real Madrid in the Champions League final this coming weekend.
Origi was given a guard of honour from his Liverpool teammates as part of his farewell at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool midfielder and captain Henderson has described Origi as a “legend” on Instagram.
Divock Origi will reportedly join AC Milan on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
Milan have just won the Serie A title and are back to being a force to be reckoned with on the pitch.
The 27-year-old Belgium international forward will hope to establish himself as a regular in the Milan starting lineup and win the Scudetto next season.
During his time at Liverpool, Origi scored 22 goals in 107 Premier League appearances.
The striker won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the Champions League with the Reds.
